Once again I submitted myself under the most fastidious care and expertise of Dr. Marc Coulombe to the two-hour ordeal of a root canal on one of my vital "anchor" teeth. (those with partial dentures with understand this reference) As usual Marc did the quickest and most delicate job possible clocking in at under an hour forty-five! during which he told fascinating stories about his recent trip to Ecuador & Peru keeping me riveted and speechless. Despite my dazed cramp-jaw afterbuzz & residual pain I left Marc's company feeling buoyed up especially after chatting with sunny Autumn at the front desk. Jes' can't WAIT for my next root canal! Dr. Marc Coulombe my longtime trusted Dental Engineer has made it possible and enjoyable for me to play both my saxophones over the years in various uncontrollable settings & conditions without fear of ill-fitting intrusive or abrasive partial dentures interfering with the purity and intensity of my pitched tones. I feel so lucky to have Marc Coulombe as my dentist and his staff are great as well. I have been going here since I moved to Edmonton almost ten years ago and have always had very positive experiences including a root canal and recent gum surgery. Even though it's a busy office I never feel rushed. They provide lots of time for any anesthetic I've needed to take effect. Dr. Coulombe also takes plenty of time to talk about options explain procedures and answer questions. He is genuinely engaged and interested in dentistry even after many years of work. This experience comes in handy - he is very skilled yet continues to take courses and learn. His tone is light his attitude is relaxed and respectful and his work is competent and efficient. The atmosphere in the office is always friendly and reassuring and his assistants are excellent. There have been a couple of times when the work performed exceeded the original estimates but both times the original quotes were honored. I highly recommend them!

I've been a patient of Canada Place Dental since it opened and I can't say enough about all of the nice people that work there. I have never had a bad experience with any of them and I enjoy going there to see them. Suraiya is my current hygienist and she is so friendly. She always does a great job and at every visit I learn something about caring for my teeth. Dr. Colombe is awesome! He gives me good practical solutions for my dental problems when I have any and I appreciate that about him. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Canada Place Dental has great dentists and dental technicians supported by very modern equipment. I have been a patient since the office first opened about 30 years ago. I have been very pleased with all types of treatment I have received including root canals crowns and fillings. I am never nervous about going to the dentist as the quality of work performed by Dr. Coulombe and the dental technicians who work there is wonderful. Definitely 10 out of 10 or 5 out of 5 stars.

As usual had a great experience which is odd to say about a dental appointment because most people dread going to the dentist. Staff are always welcoming and ready to answer any questions. Always helpful to ensure any costs are covered as much as possible by my dental plan. My hygienist was gentle but thorough. Dr. Coulombe has been my dentist for over 30 years and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

My appointment was the result of an unusual condition requiring the removal of a molar. Dr Coulombe performed the extraction with minimal discomfort. My recovery has been swift with no complications and terrific follow up. Going to the dentist is never going to be something I look forward to but Dr Coulombe makes the experience positive and prioritizes my health and wellbeing.

Upon arriving for an impromptu consultation I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. I was promptly scheduled for an appointment on the same day. The dental assistant and the doctor on duty provided exceptional care transforming my excruciating toothache into a positive experience. Their expertise and compassion restored my smile.

For many years I have been very well taken care of here. Dr. Coulombe is a masterful dentist and the hygienists are friendly and skillful and the reception staff are very helpful and kind. The whole office has a nice vibe about it seems like everyone is happy to be there employees and patients alike.

Dr Marc Coulombe

General Dentist

Dr. Coulombe was born and raised in Edmonton. He attended the University of Alberta where he graduated with his dental degree in 1987. He worked as an associate for approximately one year before opening his own practice in 1988.

He is married and has three children. His hobbies include playing hockey, skiing, mountain biking, golf and motocross.
Dr Markian Kolonsky

General Dentist

Dr. Kolonsky was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, and completed his DMD degree at the University of Sydney in Australia. With his unwavering dedication to personalised patient care and commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements, Dr. Kolonsky offers a well-rounded approach to dentistry.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Kolonsky has a keen interest in home automation.
