Technology for Quality Dental Care
At Canada Place Dental, the technology we use helps to inform treatment planning and make your dental appointments more efficient. We use a variety of technologies including CEREC® same-day restorations, dental lasers, and digital and panoramic x-rays.
CEREC Technology
Our dentists use CEREC to create and place ceramic dental restorations in one easy dental appointment. No impressions, no temporaries, Just beautiful, tooth-coloured restorations in one visit!
Dental Lasers
Our dentists use lasers in a variety of soft tissue procedures including, removing overgrown or decayed tissue and reshaping the gums. Soft tissue lasers allow our dentists to perform these procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions.
iTero 3D Scanner
An iTero 3D scanner is a digital scanning device used in dentistry to create accurate 3D images of a your teeth and gums. It eliminates the need for messy traditional dental impressions and allows for more precise treatment planning for clear aligners.
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic X-ray film. They produce detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures. They also allow for easier storage and sharing of images between dental professionals.
Cone Beam Cat Scan
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) generates 3D images of dental structures, soft tissues, and bone. These images allow for more precise treatment planning, including analyzing your airway for snoring and sleep apnea.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your entire mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures.
